Letter 1780 November 24.

Letter to General Heath at West Point. Keith and Heath were close during Keith's sevice during the war. He writes to the general to discuss personal matters and merely to keep in touch with him. A large percentage of the letter discusses the depreciation of currency by the Massachusetts Assembly and its effects on trade and the men in the military. Keith also discusses a ball he attended during which "more flashes of lightning played about the concert hall than ever Doctor Franklin caused in all his life." Written at Boston, Mass.
